Ok folks, I don't mean to be a grammar whore here but let's get something straight right here and now.
You can tell someone you're welcome as in "you are welcome" but you can't tell them "your welcome."
And second, if you meant to do something but didn't get around to doing it, you "would have done it" not "would of done it."
These may SOUND the same and when you're talking, I don't really give a damn if you SAY them one way or the other because, let's face it, they do sound the same. But when you are writing something (especially when you aren't just writing something but PUBLISHING something online) be aware of what you are saying.
This isn't directed at anyone, but just a generalization regarding some jackassery that I've been seeing way too often anymore.

I hate grammar mistakes...but I would be the first to say when I get on a roll, I probably am the reason for your blogging!! I HATE bad grammar...right down to using "good" over "well". (or with Jimmy and Nate...everything from double negatives, to using "seen" all the time, or "I done said that", etc) I swear...education these days doesn't stress grammar and that's a shame. Hell, Nate doesn't even have grammar books at his school. (It IS Indiana though, what did you expect??)
Well, yeah. It's Indiana. . . Do they even have BOOKS at his school?
U need to get over urself!
Oh my goodness; I love the word jackassery. Perfect.
Also I really hear you there: when writing, one must always try to use correct grammar. Although, I am sure my post here could use some changing for the better...
