And I am BACK after a short holiday hiatus, though honestly I can't say that anyone has missed anything in my life. Nothing new has happened is pretty much the long and short of it.
As of yesterday, I've started working from home in our basement, so that's uber-cool. For the time being, I'm working off of a makeshift workstation consisting of 4 fold-up tables with a sheet of particle board stretched across those and then my computer set-up on top of that. Ironically, its actually no less comfortable than my cube at work was. I have it on good authority though that I should be receiving my Staples delivery later today, at which point I should receive the entirety of my actual office to assemble, hopefully, this afternoon.
I signed up for my last two classes at NKU yesterday: Elementary Spanish II and Human Nutrition. After those two hurdles, my undergraduate education will be complete and I will begin a new stage in my career in which, I assume, I will be making no less than 75k a year and probably will even be allowed to really set my own work schedule. It'll be amazing.
Actually, I'm working on getting back into NKU next Fall for their MA program in Literature / Writing, so there's that to look forward to on the horizon.
To round out my slacking adequately, I've almost completely stopped reading now and this, I honestly have to say, has been rather refreshing. Without tv or books to soak up my time, WoW has taken up the slack quite nicely though lately it's started to feel like I'm just going through the motions. Actually, I'm really starting to miss LOST and THE OFFICE and my sympathy with the WGA is flagging a little bit. I've proven that I don't really need television to occupy my time and they might have to work a little harder when they come back to win me over again. But I DO miss Jack and Pam. . . .
and the title of this post had nothing to do with anything at all.

I miss the Office too...that whole situation sucks!! So...is my office equipment included in your Staples order? I am determined to work from home and yet, here I sit at Kendle in downtown Cincinnati on a cold, windy day. Lovely. Again...I think you and Julie shoudl hire me as your live-in Nanny and Maddex and I can play with Sadie and Q all day long!!!
