Update 1: I finished The Devil You Know by Mike Carey and highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys both mystery and horror. Very good hard-boiled mystery in the vein of Constantine.
Update 2: I finished First Blood by David Morrell over the weekend when I was camping. It was good at first, but tapered off quickly into a kill-by-the-numbers thriller. It wasn't bad though.
Now I'm working on Atmospheric Disturbances and it's pretty good so far.
