So, this may be scandalous to you all, but now that things have sort of calmed down long enough for me to notice my surroundings again, something caught my eye: the tag on my underwear (boxer briefs in case any of you ever wondered) gives ironing instructions. Really? Ironing instructions? Can anyone please tell me what strategic purpose there is for a man to iron his underwear, especially in the case of boxer briefs?
So, guys and gals, do any of you iron these things? Can anyone offer some insights?

After reading your blog, I felt it was my cube-ly duty to go to the bathroom and check this out myself. Apparently, they do not instruct women to iron their underwear. At least not on Lane Bryant underwear. I guess they figure ironing underwear (which can make things appear bigger)would be way to depressing.
HOWEVER, it did state that they should not be bleached.
I wonder why? Who thought of this? Who makes the decisions on our drawers??? Big Brother is everywhere - even in our underwear.
I am cracking up about this blog and Tracy's comments...now I am intrigued and want to go read my underwear tag...alas, my tag is not as interesting. It only instructs me to remove them promptly from the dryer - WHICH I do not usually do...I admit, I let things sit in there for a day or 2 before getting around to folding them!! I guess I have been doing it all wrong!! BUT, by removing it promptly, I suppose that would eliminate the need to iron them!!!!
