I love cooking! Tonight's menu was from scratch-ish chicken pot pie. . . A pic I took because I'm a dork.
This was ridiculously easy to make. It serves 8 and cost less than $7 per pie. Filling is 1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup (generic), 1 can white / dark meat chicken, 1 can either mixed vegetables or peas & carrots, and crust is just some of that make-your-own pie crust stuff. Baked for 20 mins at 350. It turned out pretty good for me basically just guestimating everything. Actually, I was a little impressed with myself. It tasted really good and after looking over the labels, I discovered that it wasn't that bad for us either.
I also made homemade granola out of what was essentially just a bunch of left-over crap we have had laying around the pantry for months. But I baked it and everything, and it turned out really good too!
In other news, I got my passport today! So it appears that this whole London Winter trip-thing will actually be going off after all. We shall see.

OY! I am so jealous ;). You deserve going to England! Make sure to have a spot of tea for me. Just in case you didnt know, Europeans say a phone line is "engaged" instead of busy. I found that weird.
Anywhoo - that pot pie looks like the straight shit! I love comfort food. Chefs rule!!
So now I will not only be travelling in your suitcase to London...but I will be eating dinners at your house from now on. (Maddex too)
